Our portfolio includes two and three-wheeler tyres, Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) tyres and Agriculture tyres. Furthermore, Tolins Tyres takes pride in our innovative Precured Tread Rubber and other retreading products, showcasing our commitment to cutting-edge technology. These products have not only garnered acclaim in India but have also made a significant impact across 40 countries, including the Middle East, East Africa, Kenya, Jordan, and Egypt. Tolins stands out as the first Indian retread brand to not only enter but thrive in the highly competitive American market for pre-cured retreading products.

Our Journey

In the 1990s, Tolins Tyres experienced significant expansion and advancements. The decade began with the initiation of the third unit in 1990, introducing the production of Pre-cured Tread Rubber (PCTR) with a capacity of 100 MT per month. This marked a pivotal step in diversifying the company's product offerings. The subsequent years witnessed strategic acquisitions, including the takeover of a Mixing Unit, in 1992, further strengthening Tolins' manufacturing capabilities.

By 1994, Tolins Tyres established its fourth unit dedicated to Pre-cured Tread Rubber, boasting a capacity of 250 tons per month. This period also saw the company's expansion beyond its home country, making its first export to the Middle East in 1998. Additionally, in 1997, a new mixing unit was launched significantly enhancing production capacity to 900 tons per month. The 1990s were crucial in shaping Tolins Tyres as a major player in the tire manufacturing and retreading industry.

The 2000s marked a period of significant growth and diversification for Tolins Tyres. By 2006, Tolins Tyres achieved a major milestone by becoming a multinational company with the establishment of a plant in Ras-Al-Khaima, UAE. This international expansion solidified its position in the global market. Recognition followed in 2007 with the Best Exporter Award from the Government of India, acknowledging Tolins' excellence in the tire industry, which the company will awarded consequently till 2011.

The mid-2000s witnessed Tolins' entry into tire manufacturing at the Kalady Plant, with 90% of its production exported to various countries worldwide by 2008.

In 1982, Tolins Tyres was founded by the late K P Varkey as a small-scale Tread Rubber manufacturing unit in Mattoor Kalady. Over the decade, the company experienced steady growth, establishing its second unit in 1985.

In the 2010s, Tolins Tyres continued its trajectory of growth, innovation, and diversification. The decade commenced with Tolins doubling its tyre production capacity in 2010.In 2014, Tolins further diversified its product portfolio by starting a Two/Three Wheeler tyre manufacturing unit at Kalady, emphasizing its focus on the growing market segment. The company continued its international expansion by establishing a warehouse in El Salvador for operations in Central America and expanding markets to various other countries like Turkey, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and so on.

During this time the group made significant strides in education and tourism, establishing a world-class school on the foothills of the western ghats and entering the tourism sector with ventures on the banks of Vembanad Lake, Alleppey. The 2010s were transformative for Tolins Tyres, characterized by international expansion, product diversification, and technological advancements, positioning the company as a dynamic and forward-thinking player in the global tire market.

In 2021, Tolins Tyres automated its production line, achieving a substantial expansion in tyre production capacity to 5000 tyres per day. This significant technological upgrade reinforced Tolins' commitment to innovation, quality, and sustained growth in the tire manufacturing industry.

The group expanded into two new industries, Healthcare and FMCG, during this period, with the introduction of Tolins Foods and Tolins Skin Science.
